Mr. Olalemi is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation and Member, Nigerian Economic Society.
Prior to joining the Lagos State as a staff, he worked as a Lecturer at Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta and C.O. Olomo& Co. Chartered Accountants as Audit Assistance.
He studied accountancy at the University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba for his tertiary education, and attended Ogun State Polytechnic for his Higher School Certificate after successful completion of his secondary school education at Ikorodu High School, Lagos.
His duties include monitoring and reporting of the State’s revenue collection from all sources. He ensures that proper books of account are maintained in line with Financial Regulations and organizes yearly Board of Survey visit to Government establishments to investigate cases of fraud on behalf of the Accountant-General of the State.
Olalemi before his current posting served Lagos State Government as 1st Internal Auditor, State Treasury Office, Public Finance Officer, 1st Accountant, Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Project Accountant Lagos FADAMA Development Office, Project Head, Projects’ Financial Management Unit and Director, Debt Management Department among others.
Olalemi has attended several professional courses, training and retreats including the mandatory continuing professional education courses by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
He is married with children and enjoys reading.
